Don't get me wrong I love Starbucks but the bill adds up quick. Before you know it you spend over $40 dollars there on multiple drinks and breakfast. Their moist banana bread is my favorite thing to snack on. I like to get it warmed up with some coffee on the side. If you want to take it to the next level you can add a few chocolate chips in the batter. So not only do you have pecans on top but you also have chocolate in each bite. Delicious!
Recipe Tips
- The batter is normally very thick. This is just how banana bread batter is so don't worry.
- If you don't like nuts or are allergic just leave them out.
- If you want to make it dairy-free add a milk alternative like oat milk or almond milk to the mixture.
- I bake it in an 8x4 loaf pan or you can use a 9x5 loaf pan. I don't have a preference but I do like to line my loaf pan with parchment paper.

Let's get into the recipe. The key is to have both the wet ingredients and dry ingredients mixed separately. You have to pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients slow so everything can mix properly. If you also want to swap out the vegetable oil you can use Ghee, Coconut Oil, Butter, or Applesauce. These all work just as good and it's a great way to try new ingredients. I like all eggs to be room temperature when I mix them into my desserts. The egg holds its consistency better when whipping them. If the eggs are cold it changes the batter and could make it more dense.
