1cupchopped pecans or walnuts. You can also leave this out if your allergic to nuts
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
In a loaf pan spray with baking spray and line with parchment paper.
Add your flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon in a bowl and whisk.
In a small bowl add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract and mix this all together.
Slowly add the vegetable oil and buttermilk and pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. It's going to be rough at first. Add in your mashed bananas after and mix again to combine everything together.
Pour batter into the loaf pan and top with chopped nuts. You can leave out the nuts if you prefer.
Cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Use a toothpick to check if it's done.
Cool the banana bread on a wire rack and enjoy.
