Have you ever thought, I want a single serve vanilla cake? Probably not, BUT I have a recipe if you want something sweet. This recipe will help you cut the craving for multiple slices of cake. If you're like me, once you have once slice you want 10 more. Hopefully this recipe helps you out!
What makes it a single serve vanilla cake?

Simple, it's the type of dessert that's made for one person. SO you don't have to share. If you're nice, you can give someone one scoop but I doubt you will because it's so tasty. The ingredient list is so short and the prep time is short too! I love a quick dessert like this! And the recipe is made in under 25 minutes, you can't beat that. Keep reading for a deep dive into this recipe.
What do you need?
What I used to make this is a little ramekin coated in baking spray. You need to place the ramekin on a cookie sheet to cook properly. You can also use a whisk to mix all the ingredients together or you can use a spoon if you don't have one available.
Make sure you have proper measuring cups so you can measure everything correctly. Since this is a small dessert, precision is everything so you need to get it just right.
Recipe swaps?
- You can swap out the butter for a healthier dairy free option if you want. Since the recipe only requires 2tbs of butter, you can use the same amount.
- I also used almond milk in this recipe but regular milk will work too if you prefer that.
- For the sugar, you can use coconut sugar or a healthy sugar alternative
