Easy to make Edible Cookie Dough

I bet you're wondering, is cookie dough safe to eat? Some of the in-store brands aren't but they do make edible cookie dough. Raw cookie dough is a NO GO, but if you want to make something fun, I have the best cookie dough recipe for you to try! Better than Nestle Cookie Dough! A lot of your favorite brands now make cookie dough edible because people just couldn’t resist eating it. But if you can’t make your way to the supermarket, I have an easy edible cookie dough recipe for you to try. The key to making this safe to eat edible cookie dough is to leave out the eggs. Raw eggs in cookie dough is what makes the mixture not safe to eat. But we have to admit it does taste so good.

Let's make this Easy Edible Cookie Dough recipe!

Now this easy dessert recipe literally takes 10 minutes. Maybe even less time if you mix fast. Quicker then other cookie dough recipes. That’s because all you need to do is combine all of the ingredients in this recipe which you can find below and pop the ingredients into a mixer. Once it’s all blended you can then eat it. This edible mixture can last up in the fridge for a week (if I last that long). When you’re kicking off this recipe, make sure your butter is softened. That’s key when it comes to a cookie dough recipe. If the butter isn’t fully mixed into the dough correctly it can cause issues with your cookies if you plan to make some (that’s only if you choose to add eggs and make this a legit cookie dough recipe)

    How to make healthy swaps

    • Use a sugar like stevia or coconut sugar to cut back
    • Go for something like almond milk like I did here
    • Use a low-sugar chocolate chip option
    • Salt isn't needed but it does change the taste a bit
