Let's make this McDonald's Chicken Snack Wrap
McDonald's is bringing back their snack wrap!!! For the last few months I've been making my own McDonald's Chicken Snack Wrap at home and it's so good. Crispy chicken, shredded lettuce, and honey mustard. SO good! I've also made a version with Mike's Hot Honey which is just as delicious and it's become a staple in my home.
For the crispy chicken, a buttermilk blend is key and soaking your chicken strips for about 20 minutes should work. I also created a hack using ¼ cup sour cream and ¼ cup almond milk in case you don't have buttermilk on hand. You can also use 2 cups of heavy cream as another substitute for a buttermilk blend. The one thing I love about this recipe is that you can use any type of sauce you want. I switch between honey mustard and ranch. You can even get bold and use hot honey like I did once and it was a delicious choice.
Here's what you need to make this McDonald's Chicken Snack Wrap! Let me know in the comments if you try this recipe. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Take a look at my updated recipe here on Reels.
Tips:
- The buttermilk blend is necessary for a crispy chicken cutlet. Do not skip this part.
- You can make a healthy swap and used grilled chicken here. Or if you want to have fried chicken you can use coconut oil or a healthier oil option.
