I've recently started to love a quick and easy dinner recipe. As a food creator, I always felt like I needed to take my recipes to the next level to be noticed, but it's not always about that. As someone who works full-time some days, I just don't have the time for that. I made this Chicken Orzo Skillet, and it's definitely going to be in my dinner roundup forever. Recipe:
Chicken cutlet ingredients:
- 2 scoops of hoisin sauce
- Soy sauce
- Rice vinegar
- 2 scoops of brown sugar
- 4 cloves or garlic
- ½ yellow onion diced
- momofuku goods chili crunch
Orzo ingredients:
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 cup of beef stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Onion powder
- Pepper
When you're baking this recipe, you have to make the chicken first. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Put the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown suhar, and chili crunch in a bowl. Mix it up and pour it over the chicken in a baking dish. Make sure you spray the dish with olive oil. Bake the chicken for 30 minutes.
On the stovetop, while the chicken cooks, cook the orzo in beef stock, heavy cream, onion powder, and pepper. Once the pasta starts to soften, add the chicken. You can also add frozen or fresh spinach to the orzo as it cooks. I loved added the fresh spinach is was a delicious add-on to the pasta.
