Come over for dinner!
I'm whipping up some cheesy pasta for dinner. I was craving pasta, but I also wanted cheese badly, so I knew I had to combine the two to make something delicious. This recipe lasted a few days in the house, and it was perfect because some days I come home after work, I DO NOT want to cook. So if you're like me and want something quick. Try this recipe.
Here's what you need for the cheesy pasta
Ingredients:
1 pound of rotini pasta
1 packet of chicken bouillon
4 tablespoon of unsalted butter
1 small cube of gouda - I cut a small piece off of the gouda I purchased
3 cups chopped broccoli
1 cup heavy cream
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
3 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
1 cup of mozzarella cheese
½ teaspoon basil
½ teaspoon onion powder
salt & pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. Pour the chicken bouillon packet in the pasta and cook it until soft and ready. Drain the pasta and set aside.
2. In a dutch oven or deep pan on the stove, add the chopped broccoli, unsalted butter, and garlic. Mix until the butter is melted. Slowly add in the heavy cream and cheese (Colby Jack and mozzarella). And mix in the noodles. Mix everything together until the cheese is fully melted.
3. Cover and let it sit on medium heat for 5 minutes. Mix and serve warm.
