Pizza Bagels
Jump to RecipeIf you're on the hunt for a 15-minute appetizer (that you don't have to share) I have something just for you. Homemade Pizza Bagels! But not like the frozen ones because they're a little bigger. But these pizza bagels are just as good. You'll eat them right up like I did standing over the stove.
How I made this recipe
For the brand, I went with Pepperidge Farm plain mini bagels. If you can find mini bagels in a different flavor like everything or onion I bet that would be delicious. Now why did I make this recipe? Because quick meals are the best. And you can make so many of these delicious pizza bagels on both the top and bottle part of the bagel. Pizza recipes are so fun to make swaps to and one thing I did was add the garlic and herb Boursin cheese to the bagel before I added the sauce and mozzarella cheese.
The garlic and herb cheese enhanced the flavor of the bagel and it was SO GOOD. I also added some of my favorite seasonings to the top of the mozzarella cheese. I went with garlic salt and Italian seasoning.
Since the Homemade Pizza Bagels are mini, they might cook quick so keep an eye on them in the oven. I cooked them at 400 degrees but that might be too hot depending on your oven temp. Would you want to make this quick app? Let me know in the comments, I would love to see how yours turned out!
Pizza Bagels
Ingredients
- 1 bag of Pepperidge Farm mini bagels
- Pizza sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Boursin Cheese Spread
- Seasonings of choice
Instructions
- Add the Boursin Cheese on the bagel.
- Next, add the pizza sauce. Followed by mozzarella cheese and seasonings of choice.
- Cook the pizza bagels at 400 degrees for 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bagels are brown. Enjoy!
