One Pot Dutch Oven Gnocchi Pot Pie
Jump to RecipeI never used my dutch oven and I knew this One Pot Dutch Oven Gnocchi would be the perfect recipe to try out. One pot recipes are perfect for the busy people who crank out too many hours at work, busy families, and anyone else looking for a meal that will last throughout the week. Leftovers are the perfect solution for anyone meal prepping as well. You can stash away a weeks worth of meals and take it to work the next day.
I used frozen Gnocchi in this recipe from the brand Mama Rosie's, which is a really good brand. This recipe is the pot version of a pot pie, without dealing with the crust. Like any other recipe, swaps are encouraged. I'm always down to try and pop in new ingredients because, why not!
Tips⬇️
- Frozen pasta works here but you can also use boxed or make (or buy) fresh pasta
- 3 tbs of flour thickens the mixture up since it should replicate a pot pie. If you need to add more, I would suggest adding a pinch at a time.
- Swap out dairy products for non-dairy items if you need to. The flavor might change a bit but not too drastically.
Storage:
- You can pop this recipe into the fridge in a plastic container for a few days. It last about a week.
- You can also freeze this recipe for up to two weeks if you want to save it a little bit longer. Always make sure you smell and make sure the recipe is still good for your safety.
