A tasty summertime Fresh Mango Salsa

This summer, head to the grocery store and stock up your fridge with fresh fruit and add my fresh mango salsa recipe to your summer bbq lineup. Who doesn't love a sweet and savory summertime salsa recipe? My husband and I ate this homemade mango salsa in record time because it was that good. I don't think we spoke to each other once. All you could hear is the crunch of each Tostito scoop entering our mouth. This easy mango salsa recipe is sweet and salty. These two flavor combinations are absolutely delicious. Have you ever had mango salsa? If this is your summer to try new things then you have to try this. Homemade salsa is so much better than canned salsa. But I have been known on occasion to eat a whole jar of salsa in one sitting. With this mango salsa there are a few key ingredients you have to have and other ingredients that are optional.

- Ripe Mangoes (I used one mango)
- Avocado or creamy avocado
- Red bell pepper (or a variety of colors)
- Red Onion or white onion
- Jalapeño peppers
- Green onions (optional)
- Black beans (optional)
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
- Olive oil + seasonings
Seasonings make this salsa delicious!
Add all your ingredients to a large bowl and mix everything together with the olive oil seasoning mix. For the seasoning I used garlic salt and black pepper. I didn't use too much seasoning Because I didn't want to take away from the sweet mango flavor. One of my favorite ways to make this mango salsa is to leave all of the ingredients in the fridge until it's nice and cold. Then I cut up everything and mix it together. The sweetness of the mango works perfectly with the onions and avocado. The blend of flavors in your mouth is something you can't forget. Simple ingredients like the ones found in this recipe can make something deliciously beautiful. If you want to make this a spicy salsa like I love, increase the amount of jalapeno peppers you use. Or you can add some additional chipotle chili powder for an extra kick. This mango salsa is also the perfect addition to a recipe like burrito bowls, fish tacos or chicken tacos.
I doubt there will be any leftover mango salsa because you'll eat the whole thing. Sprinkle it with some fresh lime juice and get your tortilla chips (or homemade tortilla chips) ready for an amazing recipe. Mango season is technically from May to September but who wouldn't want to eat mango salsa year round. Store whatever you have left in an airtight container and get ready to eat! This is going to be one of your favorite recipes. Your taste buds will thank you!
