Baking from scratch can be a headache, so I made these no-bake Three Ingredient Cake Ball Bites for those of you looking for a quick 15 minute recipe to whip up in the kitchen. No-bake desserts are the best because like I said, no baking is involved! And this dessert, is really easy to make. I had a few taste testers tell me they were delicious as well.
First things first, these Three Ingredient Cake Ball Bites have three ingredients like the title says. Pre-made sugar cookies which I picked up at target. Make sure the cookies are frosted! Cream cheese, nothing fancy is needed, store brand is fine. And chocolate melting wafers. You melt these wafers in the microwave in 30 second intervals. I prefer the Ghirardelli melting wafers, they melt the best and I've tried a few melting wafers.
Next, All you have to do is mix up the cookies and 2oz of cream cheese together. And using a cookie scoop, shape the dough into little balls. Then, I dip each ball fully into the chocolate (see video above). Make sure you place it on a cookie sheet lined in parchment paper so the balls don't stick. Top the Three Ingredient Cake Ball Bites with sprinkle and pop into the freezer for 15-20 minutes. The cake ball bites get solid pretty fast, so they might be hard quicker than 15 minutes.
All that's left for you to do is pop these in your mouth and enjoy. These small little cake bites are so tasty I can't even write it out. You just have to try it for yourself. I can't wait to see what you guys create if you end up making the recipe, let me know in the comments and tag #InAlexasKitchen on Instagram if you do!
