These no-bake cookie dough bars is just the hack you need for a quick dessert. Going to a party and need to bring something? This is the snack you can bring! It only take 10 minutes to prep and 1 hour to freeze. These bars will be a hit at any event you bring them to.

Let's make cookie dough bars
The fun thing about these bars is that I used Pillsbury cookie dough instead of making homemade cookie dough which saved me a bunch of time. You could go the homemade route but I didn't feel like it and the whole point of this recipe is to make it quick. The first thing you need to do is line your loaf pan with parchment paper. The parchment paper makes it easier for you to lift these bars out.

Next up you need to press your cookie dough into the loaf pan. You're going to use a small spatula to make sure the cookie dough is spread across the whole pan evenly. The next step is the chocolate. In a small saucepan you need to add the 1 cup of chocolate chips and cashew butter. You can replace this with peanut butter or almond butter. Whatever you prefer. Let this mixture melt and you're going to pour it over the cookie dough. Spread the chocolate out evenly and let the cookie dough bars sit in the freezer for an hour.
Chop the bars into individual pieces and enjoy!
