I love making brownies but I wanted something else with them. Cheesecake popped into my mind and I said to myself, why not put some cheesecake on top of my brownies. My Cheesecake Brownies are so easy to make and delicious. This is a classic recipe with a short bake time and short prep time. Keep reading to see how I made this recipe.
Tips for the Cheesecake Brownies

- I made the cheesecake layer ahead of time since it takes a bit for the cream cheese to get soft. And it's easier because the brownie mix doesn't take too long to make so get the cheesecake step out of the way.
- Next, you do need a hand mixer or stand mixer for the brownie mix to make sure the ingredients are fully combined. The brownie mix is thick and mixing by hand is tough. But if you don't have a mixer get your arm ready for a workout.
- The cheesecake mixture needs to be smooth. No clumps at all. I had to put my mixer on high speed to get those clumps out. This step here takes about 5 minutes so be patient.
Typically when someone sees a cheesecake recipe they stay away from it because cheesecake can be a pain to make. But this isn't a typical cheesecake layer so there is no hassle here. One thing you'll like about this recipe is how simple it is. When a dessert craving strikes this is the type of recipe you can make.
