    Homemade Brookie

    Jump to Recipe

Cookie dough and brownie mix together to make one cookie. YES, it's real and the best thing you'll ever taste. A homemade brookie, they're here and it's calling your name. When these two flavors combine together and you take a bite, you'll never forget it. I will never forget my first reaction when I bit this cookie. I'm pretty sure I said YUMMMM out loud.

Homemade cookies and homemade brownies alone can make your home smell amazing. But the two scents combined to form homemade brookie, are just incredible. The dessert does take a bit to make since you're making two doughs from scratch so you have to be prepared to spend some time in the kitchen. But the dough makes a ton of cookies so you'll have enough leftovers so it's worth it. Why should you make this dessert? Because it's amazing.

Also, when do you get to try something that has all of these ingredients? It's such a unique and fun recipe that tastes so good. You can pass this along to anyone who wants to try something new. Or if they're looking for a baking challenge, this is the dessert to try.

Now the cook time on this is pretty short. I wrote 10-15 minutes since you can take the cookies out of the oven within this time frame. If you want the homemade brookie more fudgy, take them out at 10 minutes. A little bit more crispy, let them sit in there for 15 minutes. Cook time will change the way these taste. I love a fudgy cookie sometimes and a crispy cookie. So I swap between both.

Also, if scooping 1tbs of batter is too much, you can make the cookies smaller by using a tsp. I also use both depending on how much batter I want to bake. You can do whatever you want! You can always make a brookie using brownie mix instead of a homemade dough. And top the brownie mix with cookie dough like I did here.

Just make sure you tell me what you think of the dessert in the comments.
