If making a tropical drink isn't for you then you can just skip this recipe. If you are a fan all you need is the following simple ingredients to get started with this tropical cocktail.

    Here's what you need

    • Pineapple juice
    • Coconut Milk or coconut cream (in a can)
    • Orange Juice
    • Dark Rum or light rum, or white rum
    • Coconut Flakes (toasted or regular)
    • Lime juice (optional)
    • maraschino cherry (optional)
Piña Colada In a Pineapple Cocktail

This is one of my favorite cocktails right now and even though it takes a minute to scoop out the pineapple I promise it's worth it. I made this drink on the rocks but you can also add all.of this into a blender and dump it into the pineapple. And if you prefer to use a tall glass you can use that instead. The flavors from the ingredients above make the perfect balance for this drink. It's smooth and every sip reminds you of vacation.

    No added sugar

There's no added sugar in this drink because the sugar from the fruit makes this drink perfectly sweet. If you go the frozen route with ingredients you can use frozen pineapple. And instead of coconut milk or cream you can use coconut rum along with the coconut milk or cream. There's just something about fresh pineapple though chunks in a recipe. I prefer using fresh fruit for my cocktails. What would you add to your Piña Colada In a Pineapple? Leave a comment.
