  • Cherry pie filling (canned from the grocery store)
  • Pepperidge Farm puff pasty sheets
  • Egg Wash
  • 1 package Cream Cheese
  • 2 tbs Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Thaw out your puff pastry before these other steps!

  • Cut your puff pastry into rectangle pieces.
  • Using the back of a butter knife lightly press against the edges of the rectangle to make an outline around the whole pastry. Do not cut through the dough.
  • Spoon cream cheese on the dough and spread.
  • Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling.
  • Using the egg wash brush the edges of the dough.
  • Cook at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Make sure it's brown.
  • Optional: Powdered sugar icing! Scoop about ½ cup of powdered sugar and 1 tbs of milk into a bowl. Pour on top of the pastry.
