Pickled jalapenos or green chiles (1 tablespoon of the water they sit in. I used this for extra spice. And I also added extra pickled jalapenos on top of the queso)
1teaspoonred pepper flakes
1teaspoongarlic salt
1teaspoonpaprika
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoonchili powder
Pinch of pepper
Instructions
On the stovetop, add the milk, nutritional yeast, and vegan flour and mix until combined. Once this mixture is hot, add in the seasonings above. Once this mixture starts to bubble it should be ready to go. This takes about 5 minutes on medium-heat.
If more almond milk or milk alternative is needed add about 2 tbs.
Top this vegan queso with pickled jalapenos or green chiles.
