Easy Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
  

  • 8 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted and sliced into wedges
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 ½ teaspoon cornstarch

Topping ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoon unsalted butter, chilled and cut into cubes
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon  cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Peel and cut your peaches into wedges.
  • In a medium sized bowl, add the fresh cut and wedge peaches along with the sugars (both brown and granulated sugar, corn starch, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix with a spoon and set aside.
  • Add the flour, sugars, baking powder, and salt. Next, add the butter and flour to a bowl and mix until the mixture resembles crumbs. Stir in the water until everything is combined and it looks like a wet topping. You're going to pop this topping on top of the fresh peaches.
  • Bake at 425 for 30 minutes. Top with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
