Tabasco sauce for extra heat (I added some to my sandwich after)
Instructions
Add your pork butt, Dr. Pepper, onions, andseasonings to your slow cooker. Cook on high for 5-6 hours. Checking the porkbutt often to make sure your crockpot isn’t cooking it too fast.
Remove your pork after its done cooking anddrain the liquid. I used a pasta strainer and make sure you keep the onions in.Only the LIQUID should be gone. Pop the pork butt back into the crockpot andshred. I used two forks, and it cramped up my hands but it’s all I had. You canbuy a tool on Amazon that shreds meat easily.
Next, add your BBQ sauce and brown sugar to theshredded pork and extra seasoning if you want.
Cook for another 20 minutes and enjoy!
