Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat your loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, sprinkle diced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I just eyed this part. Don't use too much.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract. Slowly add the milkIn a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter sugar mixture on the side.
Using a spoon or a larger cookie scoop, scoop the batter into the loaf pan, top with half of the apple mixture, then repeat with remaining batter and apples. Make sure you have apples for the top.
for 1 hour 10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If the toothpick isn't clean add 5 minutes on your baking timer.
Cool the loaf in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
In a small bowl, mix together powdered sugar, milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bread and enjoy!
