Strawberry Crunch Cupcakes
Ingredients
Cupcakes
- 1 Box of white cake or vanilla cake mix
- Vanilla or cream cheese frosting
Strawberry Crunch Mix
- 12 Fresh Strawberries (chopped to place on top of the cupcakes)
- 15 Golden Oreos (depends on how manycupcakes you make)
- 3.4 oz box strawberry Jello powder
- 4 tbs Melted Butter (cooled)
Instructions
Cupcakes:
- Cook the cupcake flavor of your choice as directed on the box. I used a vanilla cake mix for this recipe. Cool for a few minutes and start the strawberry crunch step.
Strawberry Crunch Mix:
- Add the cooled melted butter to a medium sized bowl with crushed Oreos and Jello mix. Let the mix sit on a sheet of parchment paper to dry before you dip your cupcakes into the crunch mix.
- Add frosting to your cupcakes and dip the cupcakes into the dried crunch mix.
- Optional: Top cupcakes with fresh strawberries
